Cashed check for work not done
The Parkland Collision Center Carstar in Parkland, Wa 98444, We went for an estimate and they received a check from my insurance co, they did not do the work on the car, but they cashed the check. It had been cashed for a month, they did not try to reconcile it.
Nor did they reach out to us to see if we intended to have them do the work for the over 5k they took. It was not until I called and tried to get the money, did the make any acknowledgement of taking the funds for something they did not do. I asked the lady why that wasn't fraud? She claimed it wasn't, they can't just sit on checks.
Instead of cashing they should have called us and tried to confirm whether or not we were going to have them do the repairs and only AFTER they did the repairs cash the check.
We felt the price for replacing a headlight was overpriced and got other estimates. Just because the insurance company was paying we didn't feel the need to have them pay for something that could be done for half the quote of Parkland Collision Center.
I spoke with a rude man at some point and hopefully it never happens again that we need repair work done, but if so I would NEVER take it to the Parkland Collision Center Carstar.

Overcharge
I bought a car in this place which is well known as a Honda car dealer, but after signing the documents, terms, and agreements, I got notice that they charged me for 3 year warranty mechanical plus insurance.
Then I backed up and requested to remove this item from my account and invoice. They agreed with it.
Again I signed documents to approve and agreed to that change.
In the end, they never changed anything.
The finance employee lied to me, not only with the terms and conditions of the sale but with the most incredible excuse ever.
Not is the time to request any change.
because the sale was a long time.
In conclusion, not only do they take the money for a service that they never provided. Also, lie about the contract, but more than please do not make the same mistake I did.
It is not a good place to get any deal whatsoever.

Had my F350 worked on at CARSTAR

Bad service and professionalism
No….No one ever contacted me.
At first the issue was they cant get Tesla parts on time. Its taking any where from 90 to 110 days. Once I got pass that time now the issue is the paint booths are messed up they only have one to paint cars. Carstar is by far the worst shop Ive ever been too.
They still have my car and its still havent been painted. Please do not patronize this business! You have been warned. The excuses and lack of customer service is very frustrating.
No one from the shop will ever call you and give you and update.
Its always you calling them to hear another inconvenience of whats going on. Please stay away from this company.

Completely unsatisfied with the quality of their work
Completely unsatisfied with the quality of their work had my F350 in their $60,000 truck couple small dents. I wouldve rather left the dents in my vehicle as had them touch my truck now my turn signals are blinking extremely fast the bumper they paint it does not match my truck.
The dentist that they did fix I can still see where theyre at in the paint work is *** poor so unsatisfied.
Also they happen to add an extra Nick by my door handle probably somebody holding a pair of pliers or some kind of tool when they open the door to my truck. Also they had to take out my back window and the lettering I have for my visions in the tent that I had put on there they screwed that up to I would never bring my vehicle there and I will not bring it back for them to fix it I am trying to have it fixed somewhere else if State Farm stands up and makes it right I cant believe the quality of this body shop if I could take back bringing my vehicle there I would be so happy

I Don't recommend.
Terrible work. Was rear ended in my 2014 pick up.
Dropped off when I was told. They didn't start working on it for over another week because they didn't have parts?? Why drop it off then? They had it over 6 weeks.Didn't offer a loaner.
Had to take it back because rear light was incorrectly installed and paint started rubbing off. Took back in and fixed it but lights are still loose and bumper is crooked. If they "bent the bumper it could crack the paint." Well then repaint...fix it until it's done right. That is the best they could do because "they were all new parts." What???
How do you install all new parts and they not fit together...try possibly ordering a different part, one that isn't defective! I'm a mechanic and would never pass off work like this.

OMG!!! This is EXACTLY what I am going through now.
The same issue with the front bumper. I have been "FIGHTING" CarStar since April 2023 and they WILL NOT honor the Warranty. I have filed a complaint with CarStar Corporate but NO HELP. I have filed a complaint with BBB my only option left is to get a lawyer.
We should not have to deal with this BS!!!
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO ANY CARSTAR shop!!!!!! Ammy 2023.
